At the point of reservation of one of our concierge specialist, may authorize your credit card for full rental cost, though actual charges will not be processed until the point at which you receive/pick-up the car.
We don’t mean to brag, but our exotic car rentals are in high demand. As such, we maintain a pretty tight schedule. For this reason, we have a very strict cancellation policy, the terms of which are outlined as follows:
Changes to your reservation are allowed without penalty within 24 hours. Within this timeframe, you may change or cancel your reservation (except for rentals scheduled to begin within seven days.) Luxury car rental reservations outside of these parameters may be subject to a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the total invoice, with a minimum penalty of $500. Outside the seven day window, cancellations are subject to 100% liability of the total rental invoice.
While we are sympathetic to changes in personal circumstances, our cancellation policy stands firm. We appreciate your understanding.
No. Our current policies prohibit vehicles being rented out for situations that may pass said vehicle to someone that does not fit rental criteria. However, if you’re a parent and want to arrange for a chauffeur for the night, we’re happy to accommodate.
Yes. The current state tax rate will be applied.
Pugachev Rentals realizes that matters of this nature happen and we are sorry for your lose. Unfortunately when someone calls to cancel a rental, there’s a good chance that they use the “death-in-the-family” excuse with us. Because there are a lot of people out there who use this excuse the same cancellation policies apply as above.
No. Due to a huge demand for weekend rentals, we aren’t able to offer a one-day rental on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday. Similar to the question about hourly rentals, if we guarantee it to you for a day, we are unable to fill requests for 2 days, which is higher in demand for weekends.
If the rental is a “must-have” for your wedding/anniversary/surprise gift, which falls on a weekend, getting yourself a guaranteed 100% reservation is to rent for a full weekend (Friday-Sunday, 48 hours).
We do offer “non-guaranteed” one-day rentals on weekends on a stand-by basis only. So on Saturday morning if the vehicle you want is still available, we’ll gladly rent it to you same-day for just that day.
No. we are serious about this, if you smoke in the luxury car we will charge you a $250 cleaning fee.
Vehicle must be returned in a condition that requires a normal car wash to clean.
Renter will be charged a minimum of $100 up to $300 for a car returned in a condition that requires more than a regular car wash to clean.
Some examples of cars that need more than a regular car wash to clean are the following;
1] Food, coffee and/or soda stains in cup holders.
2] Fast food, loose change, ash between cars seats.
3] Cigarettes or ash in ashtray – Absolutely no smoking permitted in all our rental cars.
4] Cars that are smoked in require full interior detail of $250
5] Excessive exterior dirt due to dried bugs on front bumper or sand under wheel wells.
6] Presence of pet hair in vehicle.
By renting it to you for the hour (or several) you need it, we are eliminating the possibility that we can rent the car to another customer.The car will be out for a full day regardless. So we must charge for a full day.
Pugachev Rentals does not have hourly rentals. The time that goes into each rental (prep / delivery / pick-up overhead) and the types of vehicles we have are not cost effective for the customer or the company to do hourly rentals.
The 2 hour window is there for circumstances beyond our control (traffic, flat tires, etc). With this window in place there is a better chance of your rental arriving earlier than expected.
Our normal delivery hours are between 10am and 6pm. Any deliveries outside of that time will incur a surcharge of $100 and up. We will do our best to work around your schedule.
We offer 100 free miles per day. Each additional mile comes at a pre-disclosed price.
The renter is liable for all speeding, traffic, parking, or other tickets or violations issued while the vehicle is in your possession and must pay for any and all penalties, fees, towing charges, or impound costs.

• for pushing or towing anything
• to exceed any posted speed limits
• on any unpaved surface
• to carry persons or property for hire
• in any race, rally, speed contest, speed test, speed endurance contest, demonstration, or on or near any racetrack or road course.
• to teach someone how to driveIf these Prohibited Uses occur, we reserve the right to remotely disable your rental vehicle and retrieve it.
Rental vehicles may not be driven outside the state where rented without prior written approval.
VISA, Mastercard, American Express and Discover as method of payment for rental damage deposits and fees. Checks or cashier’s checks may be accepted if presented seven business days in advance. Cash is also accepted.
After a reservation has been made, we authorize your credit card for $500 or 50% of the total rental cost (whichever is greater will be applied). If you reschedule, cancel, or do not show up for your reservation less than 7 days before hand you will be charged 100% of the total rental cost as a cancellation fee. The cancellation fees may be waived (At our sole discretion) for special or unforeseen circumstances (hurricanes, tropical storms, etc.)
Yes, a damage deposit by authorization of a credit card is preferred in order to rent a vehicle. Damage found on the vehicle when returned will be billed to the authorized credit card. Damage deposits range from $5,000 – $12,000 also depend on the vehicle being rented and the drivers insurance information. A seven day advance period is required for damage deposits paid by check or cashiers check. We also accept a cash retainer to be applied to the damage deposit that will be returned at the end of your rental cycle.
We want to make your experience as convenient as possible with delivery and pick-up brought to your front door.
All delivery arrangements must be made 24 hours in advance in order to guarantee you receive your vehicle on-time. If you would like your car delivered to the airport you are arriving at your airline and flight number will be required to ensure you receive a timely delivery. Your car will be waiting for you as you exit the airport. Delivery fees may apply in some cases, please feel free to contact us if you have further questions.Any changes or alterations to delivery or pick-up locations/times with less than 24 hours notice may incur an additional transportation fee.
Yes, additional drivers over the age of 25 may be registered as authorized drivers. We allow a limit of 3 drivers per car. Each driver must have proper auto insurance coverage in order be added.
Vehicles are available to international visitors with a valid passport and driver’s license from their home country. We can arrange for insurance coverage for those international visitors renting for a minimum of two days. Please note that international renters who do not have their own insurance coverage will be subject to a higher security deposit ($5k – $15k, depending on vehicle).
All renters must carry some form of insurance to cover damages to the vehicle in the event of an accident. You’ve got several options:
The easiest option is if you carry an insurance policy on a personal vehicle that you own or lease. We will verify with your insurer that your policy is active.
Customers from NY are required to maintain only liability insurance.
Customers from any other state are required to maintain full-coverage insurance (liability, comprehensive, and collision).
The good news is that it does not matter what you drive personally – as long as you have insurance in good standing, your carrier will cover damages to our cars (think of it as if you were driving down the road and caused an accident with a guy in a Ferrari — your insurance will cover the damages even if you’re driving a VW).
Another options is if you have an American Express card – they offer a program called ‘Premium Car Rental Protection’. This is available directly from American Express and provides coverage for your GDC rental vehicle. This is a great option because it can be purchased in addition to your regular insurance policy and provides an extra layer of protection.
If neither of the above apply, there are some 3rd-party companies that provide damage waiver products. Please inquire for details on these options.
Vehicles are available to drivers over the age of 25 with clean driving records (no major moving violations, DUI convictions, or similar infractions).
All renters must be physically present at the start of the rental. Unfortunately we do not allow 3rd parties to pick up vehicles and our employees must physically hand the keys over to the person who will be driving.
Yes, drivers 21 to 24 are required to pay a surcharge in order to rent a luxury.
We recommend that you reserve the vehicle as soon as you know the date that you would like to rent it. This will help ensure that you get your vehicle of choice, as well as, your desired rental time and date. Please be sure to check out our rental policy for our procedures on cancellations.
After we receive your reservation made online, by phone, or by fax, we will contact you to verify your information. Shortly thereafter, we will send you a reservation confirmation by email containing all of the details of your rental.
Yes; however, we prefer you set up the rental at least three days in advance so that we may verify your insurance and make sure your vehicle is available, clean and ready.
All vehicles must be returned with the same amount of gas that provided to the rental at the time the rental car was released. Pugachev Rentals will provide you with 3/4 of a tank of gas or more on your rental vehicle. Our fleet is 100%luxury cars so each car must be filled with 93+ octane gasoline.
Yes. We service the entire U.S., but do require a 1-week minimum rental when shipping vehicles out-of-state. Delivery charges and flat rates apply, depending on your location and rental vehicle. For rentals provided through our network partners in New York, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, and Dallas, the 1-week minimum rental period is not required.
